Centrifugal

A centrifuge exploits mass inertia and is based on centrifugal force. A uniform circular movement in the centrifuge allows substances to be separated from each other - similar to a centrifugal separator. Centrifuges can be used to separate individual components from suspensions, emulsions or gas mixtures. (P)
